Good Looks for the Whole Family

We are a full-service facility that has been helping clients look and feel their best since 1992.

We employ hairstylists who specialize in haircuts, permanents and color.  In addition to maintaining hair care, we offer other treatments and pampering services suct as facials, chemical peels, manicures, pedicures, waxing, airbrush tanning, body wraps and permanent makeup is available.  We also house a nail technician, barber and aesthetician. Owner Penny Petty (right), who has been a hairdresser since 1988, said "Allure Salon's goal is to provide an atmosphere that accommodates the entire family."  Her aim is to provide good service and superior results, which generates devoted customers.  Penny said "this begins with getting to know each customer, determining their needs and selecting what services are necessary to achieve the best look for each client."

She believes that to keep customers happy, you have to develop a relationship with each one.  That helps the stylist anticipate their needs and present the best style for each customer's lifestyle.  The relationship also allow the customer to trust the stylist to know and produce what is complimentary for them.  And, the hairstylists are able to coach clients on how to maintain styles between visits and recommend the products that are available on the premises.

That relationship is what keeps customers coming back.  Penny cited several instnces where a stylist made a difference in someone's life.  A new haircut, a makeover or a simple manicure can be a big difference to someone looking to make a change.  Allure Salon is out to assure that every client looks and feels their best.  That is what their job is all about.

"If I'm not making a difference , there's no reason for me to be behing the chair," Penny said.

Just as the clients of Allure show their appreciation through their loyalty, Allure shows it's appreciation with an anniversary party every year.  Invitations are mailed and clients are treated to a luncheon and fashion extravaganza that includes fashion tips, beauty demonstrations and exhibits.  Allure actively participates in Wigs for Kids, a not-for-profit organization providing hair replacement solutions for children affected by hair loss due to chemotherapy, alopecia, burns and other medical conditions.

Soon, Allure will undergo an expansion to include more space for it's growing clientele and added services such as massage therapy.
